Governor’s Advisory Committee hears ongoing concerns about slow FEMA payments

SPRUCE PINE, N.C. (WLOS) — City and County leaders from Asheville to Wake County vented frustrations with the ongoing slow Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) reimbursements at the Governor Josh Stein’s Advisory Committee meeting on Helene recovery.

The meeting on Friday, Nov. 14, was held at Mayland Community College in Spruce Pine.
