ASHEVILLE, NC. (WLOS) — Fourteen months after the extensive damage caused by Hurricane Helene, an iconic Asheville landmark is steadily approaching its reopening.
The McDonald’s in Biltmore Village has long served as a notable fixture in the city, recognized for its distinctive architectural style. But in September 2024, the fast food restaurant was forced to close indefinitely after Helene floodwaters left more than 10 feet of water behind.
