North Carolina man accused of setting up roadside bomb

MCDOWELL COUNTY, N.C. (WSPA) – A man has been charged with having a weapon of mass destruction after McDowell County deputies discovered his roadside bomb.

Deputies were called to a home in Marion on Saturday, November 29, for a property check. When they arrived, they found several thin monofilament lines stretched across the road, all connected to an explosive device aimed toward the road.
