Asheville Fire Department’s REST Team Supports Residents and Addresses Homelessness Concerns

The Resource and Engagement Support Team (REST) is a unit within the Asheville Fire Department. It was created to address safety concerns related to encampments and homelessness in Asheville, North Carolina.

Community members can contact REST by submitting a request through the Asheville App or by calling the Asheville Police Department’s non-emergency line at (828) 252-1110. For emergencies, residents should call 9-1-1.
