MCDOWELL COUNTY, N.C. (FOX Carolina) – The McDowell County Sheriff’s Office reports a man was arrested during a welfare check, where a deputy was injured during a fight in November.
Deputies said 39-year-old Larry Lee Walker was found at a residence in Glenwood in violation of his domestic violence protective order.
Walker resisted arrest, and a fight led to a deputy being injured, according to officials.
