Traffic stop on stolen vehicle leads to 4 arrests on drug trafficking charges

BLACK MOUNTAIN, N.C. (WLOS) — A traffic stop for a stolen vehicle has led to the arrest of four people who have been charged with drug trafficking, according to a social media post from the Black Mountain Police Department.

According to Black Mountain Police Department, at approximately 2:10 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 4, police identified a vehicle that had been reported stolen from Asheville.

Police say they conducted a traffic stop on the stolen vehicle on U.S. 70 East and Grovestone Road, which resulted in the arrest of four people after officers found over two pounds of what is suspected to be methamphetamine, along with drug paraphernalia inside the car…
