BUNCOMBE COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) — One lane of Interstate 26 West is back open in southern Buncombe County after a tractor-trailer went over an embankment early Tuesday morning.
An NCDOT alert says the incident happened near mile marker 35, just past Exit 37 (Long Shoals Road), around 2 a.m.
