WEAVERVILLE, NC — Tommy’s Restaurant is under new ownership at 247 N Main St, Weaverville, NC 28787, where new owner Martin Ramirez said he is keeping the restaurant open while remodeling the kitchen. Ramirez told Business Debut he is focused on upgrading the back-of-house without interrupting service.
Ramirez, a veteran restaurateur, has been in the industry since 1997 and has owned seven restaurants in New York City.
What to Expect
Ramirez said guests can expect the restaurant to continue serving during the remodel, with work happening in phases. “The kitchen is a two-part kitchen … I’m just remodeling one at a time while it’s open,” he told Business Debut.
Ramirez said the kitchen project is centered on deep cleaning and making the space easier to maintain. He told Business Debut he is updating worn areas, including walls and floors, and replacing equipment as needed…
