Hearing delayed until 2026 of man who reportedly assaulted officer, stole city vehicle

HENDERSON COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) — A man who officials say assaulted a Brevard police officer on Dec. 10, stole the officer’s vehicle and then led law enforcement on a cross-county chase appeared in court on Dec. 22, only to have his hearing delayed until next year.

Ramae Cynquan Foster was scheduled to have a disposition hearing on Dec. 22, but according to court records, the hearing was rescheduled to Jan. 13.

Foster is being held in the Henderson County Detention Center under a $75,000 secured bond…
