Trolls: A Field Study by Thomas Dambo is making its U.S. premiere at The North Carolina Arboretum in Asheville — and you’re invited to be among the very first to encounter these curious creatures!
Crafted from reclaimed wood and full of personality, these twelve larger-than-life troll sculptures will explore the Arboretum’s gardens and trails through February 17, 2026. This outdoor art exhibition, presented in partnership with Explore Asheville, invites guests of all ages to wander, wonder, and rediscover the natural world through the wide eyes of these folkloric visitors.
