HAYWOOD COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) — The Haywood County Sheriff’s Office had an early Christmas present, thanks to a one of Waynesville’s newest chain restaurants.
The sheriff’s office was recently given two utility terrain vehicles (UTVs), thakns to a grant from the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation.
The sheriff’s office said it was able to buy a UTV to deputies in situations when they are driving on rough terrain.
