BUNCOMBE COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) — A vehicle fire along Interstate 40 in Buncombe County backed up traffic along the busy roadway on Christmas Eve.
According to a TIMS alert from the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT), the incident began around 2:38 p.m. about two miles west of Exit 44 (Smokey Park Highway).
