HAYWOOD COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) — As many offices and agencies closed for Christmas Eve, one local nonprofit kept its doors open, continuing a mission it says didn’t end when the storm passed.
Blue Collar Relief opened its Canton facility on Wednesday, Dec. 24, to provide last-minute Christmas assistance, distributing meals, gifts, stocking stuffers, and essential items to families still struggling more than a year after Helene.
