“Feed Your Well-Being”. It’s Mandara Restaurant Group’s motto. They’re the umbrella company, owned by Peter and Martha Pollay, under which Posana operates.
I’ve known Peter (and Martha) for 15 years, give or take. In all that time, I never thought to look closer at Mandara Restaurant Group or “Posana”, the name they chose for their restaurant(s). Now that I see Mandara’s motto, common translations of “Posana” – “nourishing” & “feeding” – make so much sense. All that said, I haven’t verified any of this ith the Pollays.
A few days ago, on Christmas Eve, Bill and I, our son and daughter-in-law went to Posana’s new location in Biltmore Park for a late dinner. We had a wonderful evening, catching up over drinks and shared bites…
