ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — To mark acclaimed bluegrass musician Billy Strings’ upcoming Asheville tour dates, a local bar will host their second annual Billy Strings Look-Alike Contest.
The Draftsman, a speakeasy located inside of The Restoration Asheville, will hold the event at 6 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 12 with a live emcee, Strings-themed drinks, a DJ spinning Strings’ records. When Strings lookalikes take the stage, the audience will decide which contestant looks the Stringsiest. Walk-in contestants are welcome.
All participants will compete for a grand prize: two floor tickets to see Strings on Friday, Feb. 14 at Harrah’s Cherokee Center – Asheville, as well as a $50 The Draftsman gift card…
