BUNCOMBE COUNTY, N.C. (WSPA) — Officials have issued a warning regarding a scam targeting family members of detainees at the Buncombe County Detention Facility.
The scammers claim that a fictitious program, “The Second Chance Program,” allows the detainees to bond out and have their charges dropped.
