MADISON COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) — The Madison County Sheriff’s Office has been made aware of a potential scam in the Mars Hill area.
According to a post on the Madison County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, the potential scam involves a door-to-door salesman.
The sheriff’s office says they have not been made aware by any company of their presence in the county, but there is also not a comprehensive door-to-door sales ordinance in the county that requires companies to do so…
