Snow squalls that arrived midday Sunday brought light accumulations to parts of WNC including East Asheville and Fletcher.
Roads were wet and visibility was reduced for a short time.
Most of the snow showers ended by late afternoon with gusty wind drying out most of the roads and surfaces.
However, as we go into a very cold night, be aware that any place that still has wet spots on the roads from Saturday’s heavy rain, or from today’s snow melt could be dealing with patchy black ice…
