Minor charged with firing gun to intimidate victim, Asheville police say

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Asheville Police Department arrested a minor while executing a search warrant on Thursday.

Police conducted a search warrant at a home on Wetland Way in Arden. A juvenile was taken into custody without incident and charged with the following:

  • Aid and abet
  • Discharging a firearm from a vehicle with the intent to incite fear in another person
  • Accessory after the fact
  • Three counts of possession of a handgun by a minor

Police said the charges are related to a shooting that occurred on Livingston Street on Dec. 28. Nobody was injured, and one vehicle was damaged by gunfire.
