BUNCOMBE COUNTY, N.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Buncombe County District Attorney’s Office two people pled guilty to large-scale narcotics trafficking.
Officials said the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office assisted federal probation officers in a search Daniel Alfaro and his residence. Investigators found 28 grams of methamphetamine and 50 grams of fentanyl in his camper.
Alfaro pled guilty to trafficking in opium/heroin and trafficking in methamphetamine. He was sentenced to a minimum of 70 months and a maximum of 93 months in the North Carolina Division of Adult Correction, along with a $100,000 fine. The sentence will be served in addition to time he received for violating his federal probation.
