Murder in the mountains has a Western North Carolina woman facing charges in two separate fatal incidents with of them being a cold case from nearly two decades ago.
The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office says Michael Schmidt was killed there in 2007. Now, nearly two decades later a suspect has been named.
