Planning Board recommends changes to downtown zoning district, suburban lot

HENDERSONVILLE – The Hendersonville Planning Board recommended amending the text of one of the city’s zoning districts to allow for smaller lots and shallower setbacks in a Jan. 15 meeting.

It also recommended the rezoning of a parcel on Kanuga Road to allow for the development of condominiums alongside an office.

Hendersonville’s C-2 Secondary Business zoning district is found running along the southeastern edge of downtown, in the 7th Ave. Depot District and in a few isolated spots in the northeast of the city…
