MCDOWELL COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) — The McDowell County Emergency Operations Center in Marion will be opening warming stations on Monday, Jan. 26.
According to a news release, warming centers will open to provide a safe, warm place for residents during the cold weather forecasted to follow the winter storm.
