HENDERSON COUNTY, N.C. (FOX Carolina) – Around 2,000 customers are reported to be without power in Henderson County on Sunday.
According to the Duke Energy outage map, 39 outages have left 2,011 customers without power.
As of 8 a.m. on Sunday, the outage map shows some of the following areas in the county are without power:
- 14 customers are without power on Cairens Ridge Drive. The cause is unknown at this time. Repairs and damage assessment are underway.
- 552 customers are without power along N. Clear Creek Road. The cause is unknown at this time. Repairs and damage assessment are underway.
- 440 customers are without power along Howard Gap Road. The cause is unknown at this time. Repairs and damage assessment are underway.
- 609 customers are without power along Clear Creek Road. The outage map says the outage was caused by fallen trees limbs damaging the equipment. Repairs and damage assessment are underway.
- 174 customers are without power along Deep Gap Road. The cause is unknown at this time. Repairs and damage assessment are underway.
According to Duke Energy, the estimated time of restoration is 11 p.m. on Sunday.
