Earthquake reported in North Carolina on Tuesday

TRANSYLVANIA COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) — The United States Geological Survey reported an earthquake in North Carolina on Tuesday.

The 1.7 magnitude earthquake was reported at 6:50 a.m. 3.7 miles west of Rosman in Transylvania County.

A 1.9 magnitude earthquake was reported west of Rosman on Jan. 20, and a 1.7 magnitude earthquake was also reported west of Rosman on Jan. 22…
