RALEIGH, N.C. (WLOS) — As measles cases continue in the Upstate outbreak, the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services introduced a new tool to help stop the spread.
The NCDHHS has launched text notifications for potential measles exposure, according to a press release from the state health agency. The NCDHHS said that by launching this tool while measles cases persist, the agency can quickly notify anyone who may have been near a confirmed case and provide them with the next steps.
