WOODFIN, N.C. (WLOS) — The project making waves on the French Broad River in Woodfin is moving forward.
The work area is just north of the Craggy Bridge and just upriver from the Woodfin Riverside Park.
The wave will be called Taylor’s Wave in memory of Taylor Hunt, who died in a whitewater accident in 2015, according to the Town of Woodfin.
