Henderson County, N.C. (WLOS) — Saturday morning gusts up to 35-miles-an hour blew down street signs and tree limbs on rural roads outside Hendersonville in Henderson County. By sunrise the sustained gusts that kept coming made it hard for drivers at gas stations simply trying to gas up without pushing against the winds to stay standing.
The winds also made it a challenge for drivers on I-26.
