BUNCOMBE COUNTY, N.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office reports a man arrested in North Carolina on statutory rape against a child charges has been placed on an U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detainer.
The Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office said Juan Ramon Juarez-Talamantes was arrested in Asheville on Nov. 19, 2025, for two counts of rape of a child under 15-years-old. He was charged with a third count on Jan. 22.
