The City of Hendersonville invites the public to nominate a public employee or team who has spearheaded sustainability practices and initiatives.
“This award is an important initiative to recognize those that go above and beyond for advancing sustainability practices for the City of Hendersonville,” said Virginia Tegel, a member of the City’s Environmental Sustainability Board.
Previous winners include Stormwater Director Michael Huffman, who earned millions of dollars in grants to implement water improvement projects, and the Water and Sewer Department for its focus on water conservation, waste reduction and operational efficiency…
