Western NC man accused of pretending to be officer wanted in another county

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Asheville Police Department is asking the public for help in finding a man wanted for impersonating a police officer again.

Officials said they are looking for 22-year-old Rodrigo Barrera-Lozada. He is wanted for two counts of impersonating a police officer in Asheville and is also facing one count in Henderson County.

The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office originally arrested and charged Barrera-Lozada on Feb. 3.

Barrera-Lozada is described as five foot five with a medium build, black hair, brown eyes and wearing glasses. Police said his last known address was Hilliard Avenue in Asheville…
