National 211 Day highlights free 24/7 helpline linking people to local resources

HENDERSON COUNTY, N.C (WLOS) — National 211 Day, an annual event that highlights the free, 24/7 helpline connecting people to vital resources during times of crisis, takes place on Wednesday, Feb. 11.

The helpline works in all 50 states, and any local United Way helps connect people to food, housing, health and disaster resources.
