ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — The Asheville Humane Thrift Store will host a Valentine’s Tea Party from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, featuring family-friendly activities and local artists, with proceeds benefiting animals cared for by Asheville Humane Society.
Organizers say the event will include tea and cookies, face painting, crafts, a coupon scavenger hunt and a screening of the classic animated film “Alice in Wonderland” on a large movie screen.
Several local artists and makers are scheduled to participate with pop-up booths, including Rainbow Burrow Studio, caricature artist Sketchtonic, Patti Glass Creations, Yeah That’s My Art, Caroline and Phoebe, who will offer handmade crafts, stained glass, cozy pieces and baskets…
