HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — UNC Health Pardee in Hendersonville announced on Feb. 16 that it is lifting its age-based visitor restrictions that it had in place due to a rise in respiratory illnesses.
The hospital said in a news release that masks are still required at the Pardee Hospital Emergency Department and at Pardee Urgent Care locations due to the ongoing circulation of measles in the region.
Although respiratory virus activity is decreasing, individuals who are sick should not visit patients, the release said. Additionally, patients and visitors are encouraged to delay non-urgent visits if experiencing symptoms of respiratory illness and to follow guidance from care teams while on site…
