Epstein files mention Asheville 100+ times, with victim details redacted

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — Recently unsealed documents in the Jeffrey Epstein files include numerous references to Asheville and individuals from the area, according to a review of the records.

The files contain at least 100 instances where “Asheville” is named, though approximately 40 of which are FBI news briefings containing Asheville-area articles. Several other files mentioning Asheville include financial documents.

Some of the files, however, show blacked-out information about a victim or victims who are seemingly from Asheville. The names and personal information of the victims have been redacted.

The Epstein files are a massive collection of millions of documents, emails, images and videos related to the now-deceased convicted child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
