CANDLER, N.C. (WLOS) — A morning crash on Feb. 20 involving a Buncombe County school bus sent the driver of the car that hit the bus to the hospital with minor injuries.
According to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol’s Robbie Baker, the crash happened on U.S. 19 at the intersection of Wiggins Road. The North Carolina Department of Transportation reported the accident happened just after 8:15 a.m.
“A car struck a bus, and there were two children on board the bus. There were no injuries on the school bus,” Baker said. “But the driver of the car did have minor injuries and was transported to the hospital.”…
