ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — Asheville Police Department’s Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) academy held its graduation ceremony on Friday, Feb. 20.
The ceremony at Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College (A-B Tech) swore in new graduates, including a retired actor.
As Asheville struggles with recruitment issues, the newest graduates are a bright spot in moving forward with building up numbers.
