ASHEVILLE, NC. (WLOS) — Candidates vying for one of the three open seats on Asheville’s City Council, as well as those running for mayor, will participate in a forum at UNC Asheville on Friday, Feb. 20, 2026, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
According to organizers, the event intends to provide a space for candidates to discuss their plans to address climate change and make the city work for working people.
The forum will include small-group discussions with candidates, giving participants an opportunity to ask questions directly.
