Marshals: Regional ‘major drug supplier’ arrested in Blountville

BLOUNTVILLE, Tenn. (WJHL) — A man wanted out of Buncombe County, North Carolina, with a history of drug and weapons charges, was arrested in Blountville, according to the United States Marshals Service (USMS).

The USMS announced in a news release on Friday that Reco Lamar Mosley was arrested by the USMS Smoky Mountains Fugitive Task Force. Authorities reportedly found 12 firearms, a pill press and “large amounts of fentanyl and methamphetamine” at the scene of the arrest.

According to the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office, 271 grams of fentanyl, 146 grams of suspected methamphetamine and 127 grams of marijuana were found by authorities. The sheriff’s office stated the seized drugs had a combined street value of roughly $53,000…
