ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WSPA) — The Asheville Police Department arrested three people Tuesday following an investigation into community complaints regarding illegal drug activity in a West Asheville community.
The investigation began around 10:45 p.m. in the Short Michigan Avenue area.
Officers initially made contact with 32-year-old Jami Marie Lee Tressler, which led to a search warrant for a nearby residence where she had been seen leaving. Police said Tressler was found in possession of fentanyl, methamphetamine and a large amount of cash during the initial police contact…
