Asheville Regional Airport (AVL) is proud to announce the return of its beloved Art in the Airport program, a rotating exhibit that celebrates the vibrant creative spirit of Western North Carolina.
The program is now accepting applications from local artists who wish to showcase their work in the airport’s new North Concourse. This will be the first “Art in the Airport” exhibit featured in the new terminal. These visual works offer thousands of daily travelers a window into the cultural richness of our mountain communities.
“Art plays a vital role in welcoming visitors, calming nerves, and creating a more engaging and memorable airport experience,” said Marketing and PR Manager, Alexandra Ingle, who curates Art in the Airport. “It also honors the incredible talent right here in our region — and contributes to the economic vitality of our creative community.”…
