Celebrate West Asheville’s culinary talents and community spirit at Westival, a fundraiser for 12 Baskets Café, on Saturday, March 14 from 5-8 p.m.
A $50 ticket provides unlimited food from West Asheville restaurants, including Sunny Point Café, Pizza Mind, Gypsy Queen Cuisine, Taco Billy and Gan Shan. A raffle of four gift baskets and other activities will also be on hand at Archetype Brewery, 265 Haywood Road.
“There is so much to celebrate about West Asheville,” said Ben Williamson, executive director of Asheville Poverty Initiative, which operates 12 Baskets Cafe at 610 Haywood Road. “We wanted to design an affordable, casual event that highlighted the many exceptional food businesses we are surrounded by, as well as the amazing sense of community.”…
