MARS HILL – In one of the more remote parts of Madison County, the Upper Laurel community typically has a smaller array of dining choices than in other parts of the county, but there’s now another option.
BoRudy’s Grill, run by Lisa Rice and her daughter-in-law Ashley Rice, opened Feb. 8. The restaurant is named after Lisa Rice’s sons, Ashley’s husband Brent, and Andrew, nicknamed Bo and Rudy, whom the team pays homage to with its signature dish, the BoRudy burger.
