WEAVERVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — Drivers south of Weaverville should plan for an overnight closure of Merrimon Avenue near Reems Creek Road as crews remove an overhead pedestrian bridge.
The North Carolina Department of Transportation said Merrimon Avenue will be closed starting at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10. The roadway is expected to reopen by 7 a.m. on Wednesday, March 11.
