ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WSPA) — Shamrock Irons has opened on College Street in Asheville, replacing a former Irish pub with a fully renovated, family-friendly space. The new establishment features a dedicated stage for live music and a menu focused on traditional Irish fare.
Owner Joanne Carroll moved from California in 2024 to open the business with a partner. Carroll said she chose the format of an Irish pub to foster a local connection. “I wanted to buy a business where I can create a sense of community,” Carroll said. “I thought, what better place to do that than an Irish pub!”
