ASHEVILLE – The Mountaineer Inn property on Tunnel Road has been listed online by DDM Hotels, a hotel brokerage firm. A Buncombe County judge ordered property owner, Radify Asheville LLC, to clean up the site in February.
The 1939 motel was purchased by a Seattle-based company, LOGE Camps, for $6.1 million in May 2023. It had plans to renovate the property, adopting it into its outdoor-recreation oriented brand.
But the property has sat largely idle. Initially intended to open in summer 2024, the plans never materialized…
