WEAVERVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — Volunteers spent the day clearing Helene debris and overgrowth from an old cemetery near Weaverville.
Members of the Carolina Mountain Club brought their chainsaws and other equipment to the Alexander Chapel United Methodist Church on Aiken Road.
Part of the cemetery is maintained, but there are other graves in the wooded area next door…
