ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — Drivers in Asheville are paying more at the pump as gas prices continue to climb nationwide amid the ongoing war in Iran, which is nearly in its third week.
As of Friday afternoon, March 20, the average price for a gallon of gas in the Asheville metro area — which includes Buncombe, Haywood, Henderson and Madison counties — is $3.54, according to GasBuddy’s fuel insights. This is up 1.5 cents since yesterday, 22 cents since last week and 85.2 cents since last month, according to GasBuddy.
