BUNCOMBE COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) — Buncombe County Sheriff Quentin Miller is speaking out after a deputy was hit and dragged by a suspect during a violent encounter earlier this week, calling the moment both personal and a reflection of the growing challenges law enforcement faces.
Miller said the injured deputy is recovering and emphasized his appreciation for the deputy’s commitment to the job.
