BUNCOMBE COUNTY, N.C. (WSPA) – Buncombe County deputies are investigating a death after a body was found in Pisgah National Forest.
On Thursday evening, just before 8:30 p.m., deputies responded to a call regarding human remains found in a remote area of Northeast Buncombe County, near the Yancey County line.
Deputies said the remains were found by hunters scouting the area in Pisgah National Forest. The remains were stated to be in an “advanced stage of decomposition.”…
